Don't delay! Enroll Today! If your family matched in the MySchoolDC lottery with J.O. Wilson ES, we're excited to welcome you to the Cardinal Family. The enrollment deadline for matched families is May 1, 2023. Enroll online Starting April 1
Extended Office Hours To Support Enrollment
During enrollment season, Ms. Stephenson will have extended office hours to help support families get enrolled for the upcoming school year. Every Monday- Thursday until May 1st. Ms. Stephenson will keep the office open until 7 pm to support families with enrollment.
Enrollment Saturday is April 29! Ms. Stephenson will be in the front office from 9 am - 12 pm to enroll families in-person. During this event, from 10 am - 12 pm, families are invited to attend building tours and join new and continuing students on the playground for a playdate.

My School DC – The Public School Lottery
Like nearly all DC Public Schools, J.O. Wilson participates in the My School DC common lottery. You must use the My School DC application to apply for placement at:
- A PK3 or PK4 program at any DCPS school, including your in-boundary school
- Any DCPS school outside your boundary or feeder pattern (for any grade)
Students entering Kindergarten – Grade 5 are guaranteed placement at their in-boundary school and do not need to apply through the My School DC lottery. Additionally, students do not need to submit an application if they will remain in their current school. (The front office will process re-enrollment information before the end of the current school year.)
